Since there are no threads on aftermarket wheels, I thought I'd start one.

I was looking at new wheels for my STI and I was actually kind of enjoying the experience since for many of the websites they have a good preview option that lets you see what the wheels would look like on the car. The last time I checked for the 100 series, none of those sites gave a preview option for the Hundy. So I had to use my imagination, which didn't go well because next thing I know I'm thinking about Scarlet Johansen sitting on my hood beckoning me over for a bit of fun.

But, problem solved!, now NTB's site http://tbcwheels.ridestyler.com/?mode=webtk lets you preview dozens of aftermarket wheel options available for the 100 series, and you can see them right on your 100 (with crappy street tires). You get to start by trying to match the color of your 100 (which in itself you could have some fun with), and then you can select to your heart's content!

Maybe this is old news to some, but not to me. So if this is old news, then lets start a contest: Who can make the ugliest wheel combo (screen shots required)? Here is mine, with some beautiful 22's:

Common Trunk, I expected more from you. Can you not see the tags?

And, tech?

The link provided is good enough tech for me, I've never come across that site and I'm sure there are plenty of people in the non offroad segment of mud who would find value in it. Looks like there are indeed may aftermarket coices out there for the 100 although I wonder if all of those wheels are actually available. I don't like that there are no options for 16-17" wheels.

Thanks for posting saillaw......although you could have also added it to one of the many other threads that Trunk pointed out.

The camo wheels are awesome:hillbilly::flipoff2:

It's interesting how that site shows a bunch of wheels available for the LC, but if you go to the manufacturer's website they don't list any LC-compatible wheels (American Racing, Rhino, etc.).

OK stupid question....... How come most wheels are with 18" diameter are made in 9" width and not 8". Would 9" width be more likely to rub or is that totally dependent on backspacing and tire width.
Some 8" widths are more expensive than the 9" ones.
