My 99 LC was missing the Factory Bottle Jack and Tool Roll.

Has anyone found an aftermarket jack that fits in the factory mount as a less expensive option? What about replacing jack from another Toyota make (is this an option)?

What are my options for the factory tool roll?

Thanks in advance for your help here. It is appreciated.

Respectfully,

Steve

I think all the landcruisers and prado jacks are the same, differences being on the torque rods with different length and adapters to also engage into the spare wheel hoist

My wife's 2015 GX460 has the exact same jack as my 2003 UZJ100 - I haven't looked, but I bet my kid's 2006 4Runner has the same one as well.

Has anybody encountered an OEM jack that doesn't work anymore? On mine, the cylinder will rise up to the axle but as soon as it tries to lift the weight of the vehicle, all it does is click when I keep turning it and doesn't rise any further.

It's probably internal failure, I'd grab one off ebay for cheap for any Toyota / lexus truck or SUV. I was searching for a better jack alternative for lifted 100 series the other day and ran across safejacks.com . They sell full jack kits with extended lift and adapters to achieve more lift, not cheap but might be a good solution for some that don't have hi-lift or other lifting points. I can't get the front of mine off the ground safely with the factory jack.

I gots one of these. It nice. It came with a tootsie roll too, like cherry on top.

Can confirm, it’s a nice product going towards supporting the local land cruiser community. Only mine came with 3 mints :barefoot:

sorry to thread-jack, but how about a good alternate spot to put the jack and tool set? I'm in the middle of wiring up a blue-sea fuse box in the stock jack location and will eventually need a new place for the jack.

I put my blue sea in the cubby on the passenger side so I didn't have to deal with removing the trim on the subwoofer side. If you've already planned for driver side, you might consider a plastic case or canvas bag (pelican or military surplus style) to carry the spare kit & jack in.... I'm not aware of any other open spot where the jack and tool kit will fit. I bought a small canvas bag for my VIAIR air compressor on amazon, it would be a good size to hold those components.
