Guys my oil pressure sensor has snapped or been broken off at the block by the previous owner of my recently purchased hzj75 T/T.

All that can be seen is a few threads protruding from the threaded hole and is a very difficult to remove the remaining stump. Strangely there is no leakage of oil so mayb whoever broke it did a bodgy job and blocked the hole with something?
if that is the case it may prove very difficult to remove with an easyout. I was wondering as it DOES NOT appear there's any leakage i could just leave it alone.

Would there be any alternative position/s on a 1HZ block where i could install a oil line, that will give true indication of pressure?

Was thinking mayb of buying a good mechanical gauge and doing a dash mounting.
Thx to any positive suggestions

While I can not help you with the oil pressure probe issue ( that is way above my pay grade) I can at least show you how I mounted aftermarket gauges on my LJ78. The factory water temp. gauge as well as the factory oil press. gauge were junk anyway.
Hope that helps......1978HJ45

to remove the sheared off temp probe you need something called an 'easyout'. Basically its like a drill but with a course helical left hand thread. you drill a small hole into the probe and then as you screw the 'easyout' into the hole the deeper it goes the more it grips and then starts screwing the probe out. the tricky bit is doing the predrilling and not going so deep that you drill all the way through and get brass in your engine but also going far enough that the easyout gets enough purchase to grip and unscrew the probe.
Check out this link for a picture and some more advice on using them:
EASYOUTS, EASY-OUTS, EZ OUT, EZY-OUT, Bolt Extractor, Screw Extractor

the point of the post is to enquire if i can run an oil line from OTHER THAN THE SNAPPED OFF OIL SENSOR LOCATION that would give true oil pressure. Not where i can promenade my after market gauges. Thx

Take a photo of the broken bit in the block .
