This looks like a pretty good replacement option for a hard to find part and price is reasonable. Billet hood trim for early land cruiser with split hood. Has anyone used this piece? Can you attest to it's quality of fit and finish? Thanks for your feedback.

Oh, and I know their reputation for service sucks. I've used 'em before with no problem though:).

They are very nice. Not a mirror finish some machine marks. Would not be to tough to polish it up as its aluminum. I have one on my 69. The stock one got bent in a hood blow up episode I think in my cruisers past. Not an exact copy but close enough for me!

Never seen one in person...looks nice.

You could also buy an original from Mark, but I am not sure on the price :)

I ordered one 3 days ago and received it today. Great service and the hood ornament is very well made and fits the hood perfectly...bolts line up perfectly. Like mentioned above, very slight machine marks but can be easily polished out. Just wish it came with a gasket so the unit is not butt against the paint, but I can make one. Very well worth the money and unlike the orginal, it would take some very heavy object to dent it as it is solid billet aluminum.

Bicycle inner tube works great....

I know JT has a bad rep around here. So I have not dealt with them much. Got their winch bumper (less than 100 bucks shipped) and the ornament...both transactions were all good. Thats about all I have gotten there.
I would think it should fit all split hoods?
