Asking for a friend here, trying to help.

He changed the fuel filters at a local mechanic here in Baja. The guy didn’t pre-fill the filters nor did they pump it with the little pump thing. He drove 100 feet and it died. I’ve been trying to help him with this. I pumped it until it couldn’t pump anymore. I have loosened the injector bolts until fuel comes out. It will run fine at idle but when you take it up to 1500 RPMs, it’s sputters and dies. He’s got the diesel care Fuel filter kit as well. I’ve attached the photo. Can’t find much info on searches on bleeding this thing or or what it just seems that there may be something else here causing this problem because I have a hard time believing that these things are the sensitive. if they were, I think there would be more info about it, but maybe not Help please

Bypass the filter for now. If it runs then probably a bad o ring. You could add a simple filter until things are fixed.
Best is a clear hose between the filter exit and the IP intake. If you see lots of bubbles you have a vaccum leak to repair.
Move the clear hose as required in case the vaccum leak is closer to the tank.
Sometimes people add to many filter gizmos and in the end create their own vaccum leak due to loose fittings, bad threads etc.
Pictured is a Foremost Delta 3 6x6.
2 stroke diesel, locking front differential.
This thing starts up perfectly even after sitting all winter. Keep it simple.
