May I please have your advise on rust. I was able to get just these photos, not great quality. It is 2004 LC. Does it appear just the surface rust or more than that? Can it be prevented ? Please advise.

You need to evaluate the whole truck but from what's pictured I wouldn't be worried

Not sure where you see rust!!! That looks like a 20 yar old underside that has been outdoors a bit... But I will gladly take it off your hands if you so desire

CA is notorious for rust free vehicles, has it been in CA its whole life?

We need more pics for a full evaluation, from what is shown there is not much at all.
