Coopers I like them. But I’m in the sand and dirt more than rocks.

I've heard mixed reviews about chunking and rocks. Regardless the more I research the more I lean towards the coopers. Was almost set on the ko2s.
interesting, i've not heard of Coopers having issues chunking. I've loved all the cooper's I've ran. getting ready to put on some 285/75/17's as soon as my lift gets here
I have owned two sets of 255/80-17 Coopers in E, and they do chunk when exposed to our dagger-like rocks.
How is the service history for your truck? Since I got mine 2.5 years ago, i have done the following:
water pump/belts
thermostat
radiator and hoses
secondary air injection system (bypass waiting to install)
CVs (just rebooted mine)
alternator
brakes
all fluids, including radiator
headlight polishing
Sounds like you could use the Firestone airbags in the rear to deal with excessive weight. Also consider the Eibach kits, as they come with the coil conversion kit and many members on GXOR seem to like them.
seeing Homer's measurements, i just measured mine. 22" and 22.5" on the front, with 5100s and 'leveled;' and 21.25 and 22" on the rear with SSO 3/4" installed. I forgot to measure when I was stock, so i don't have a frame of reference. I fit 255/80 ST Maxx with fender liner forward and a good amount of front bumper corner cutting.

Factory hub to fender were probably something like this:
Front: 20.25"
Rear: 21.00"
That's just a guesstimate. My friend bought a 2006 and his was at 19.25" in the front and 19.25" in the rear with original front and rear suspension. Weird, but that's what he measured hub to fender. He was a low rider.

Its either the tall st maxx or a fatter k02, still leaning towards the st maxx.
Vehicle indicates well maintained and recent timing belt job. Everything seems cherry minus inner cvs starting to leak. Regardless will be proactively replacing starter when installing secondary air injection bypass, as all as alternator. I can always appreciate having known good spare parts around. I'll look into the eibach kit, thanks!

I'm used to going to autozone or oreilly for honda axles, for a 2-2.5" lift are cvj upgraded remans better than oem? If oem what Toyota site does everyone use?
CVJ boots are better than OEM the axles are just as good. And the price is right.

Thats good to know, another lesson learned from high hp setups is upgrade when possible. I've heard of one account of their upgraded boot tear, seem like an isolated incident.
