ONSC,

I wanted to let you know we are putting on an event called the Adventure Summit at Uwharrie on October 2nd to 4th. This is basically an off road themed festival that will welcome all makes and models. We will have a vendor row, food trucks, beer trucks, live music each night, camping, classes, competitions, trail rides, bike rides, hikes, kayaking, running events, and lots more. We have reserved the local off road areas with OEX will be running trail rides in there as well. There will also be tons of giveaways. BGF Is the title sponsor and will be giving away two sets of tires up to 37 inches. As you complete competitions, classes, trail rides, you will be given raffle tickets and you can pick which bucket to put your raffle tickets in. Camping will be first come first serve. If you would like to park together, please arrive together and we will do our best to accommodate. The camping spots will be socially distanced sized. ;<)

I am part of the team putting this on. We have been thinking about and planning this for years. We wanted something different where everyone is included no matter what vehicle they drive or what activities they like or what skill level they had.

Registration is open. www.overlanderproject.com

I hope you all will join us. We also have volunteer opportunities. And I have a discount code for the club that I can provide via DM.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I’m interested in attending and also interested in volunteering to lead a kayaking tour of the Narrows area.

@Jaeco Great news. I will check the volunteer sheet and let you know. Thank you.

Added a FAQ and tentative daily schedule. The daily schedule will be updated as we learn more. Tickets are starting to sell. Going to be fun.

@jamesurq what you got? Hit me on DM to discuss. There is always a way. ;<)

Vendor row / sponsorship details coming today.

CVT is giving away a roof top tent, BFG is giving away 2 sets of tires. We could have a club camping area and a possible private event for the club.

This sounds fun. Hopefully my truck will be ready by then so I can come out and enjoy the event.

Are the Aug dates full?

I'd love to do October but work starts back up a few days prior and I know better than to try to ask off, ha.

Oops! No, probably (definitely) me looking in the wrong place.

Cleaned up the website. Signing up vendors and people. Going to be fun. About 3 months away. 😎

Team ONSC,

Any feedback greatly appreciated. We are new to all this and want to provide an incredible customer experience.

Are people not signing up because?

- Website - needs to be more concise. No idea what this is.
- Covid - not doing anything until this is over
- Too many other events out there

All feedback welcome. We need to know what is great and is what is not so great.

Thank you.

I have no idea what this event is trying to do, other than host a vendor show. You're catering to all people, all activities, but what is it? Sounds like overland expo based on description, but it's hard to figure it out.

Thank you. A little bit for everyone. So it's a laid back overland expo. I will work on the description.

Hi-
I am planning on coming to the summit and will be bringing a friend. The site is confusing as far as what extras I will need to purchase for him. I know it says he will need a wristband and I should purchase a "Companion Pass for the Weekend" but I don't see that option on your site. I'm not sure what exactly he will need other than the wristbands.
I was planning on just getting a regular camping pass then whatever else I would need for him, but was wondering if it would be cheaper to get the premium camping pass as it looks like it already includes everything for both people.
Can you help point me in the right direction? Thanks
