OK, the parts I am refering to are the fiberglass top, and the body of the camper. the top sets down on the body for transport. I have tried a DAP/Weldwood contact cement that was listed for wood, foam, cloth, leather, plywood, and says a "Neoprene Formula". It worked OK, after it was applied, & the drive on the family camping trip, but on the 2nd trip(winter duck hunting, 3-4 mos later) the whole sh!^ came undone. Now getting set for the summer trip, and getting the rig ready, I'm looking for somthing that will stick the weatherstriping to the plastic edge of the fiberglass top so that I'm not trailing 14' of sponge rubber behind me up the mountain.
The question is, should I buy new foam rubber weatherstripping, and try a new adhesive? Or glue the sh!^ out of the out of the old stuff(still in good shape), and call it good?
