I have read through most of the firewall threads and see where folks run the wiring along the foot wells. But past the second row of seats then where? In my case I do not need to go past the second row seat as my power bank lives behind the front row passenger seat. I have removed my second row passenger seat which is where the frig lives.

My current plan is the following. In the engine bay, on the driver's side before the fuse panel there is room to mount a plate which will hold my DC-DC charger, input and output circuit breakers, and ground bus bar. From there I will run 10 gauge wire through the fire wall and long the driver's side foot well and the second row foot well. The question is where to bring the wire out?

My first thought is to run the wire under the carpet just under the second row floor vents then bring it out where the second row passenger side seat was as that is where the carpet is cut for the seat mounting. Or perhaps run it above the floor vents - more or less under the seats and then bring it out in the same location.

Any thoughts from those that have run wiring into this area?

If you need the wire at the second row, I'd fish it under the front seats and bring it up through one of the existing holes in the carpet under the driver or passenger seat.

If you need the wire further back, I'd consider bringing the wire up behind the second row carpet. I think it really depends on where you want to terminate it.

I ran my wire down the kick plate of each door. There's enough room for the wire to sit in there just fine. I added a second wire which went all the way to the tailgate to install additional USD/12V outlets.

I installed my DC-DC charger in the cargo area behind the second row seats. I felt it better to not have it in the engine bay subject to heat and elements. For the DC charger, my wire comes out about where one of the third-row seats mounted.
