Looks nice...

I like it. Was it custom made for you, or a production model.

I looked on the website and did not see it.

How much did it set you back?

Install looks great. And I'm shopping for bumpers now. Want something lighter that the ARB.

So I called Scott at Addicted. Unfortunately, this is a custom fab job, and not bolt-on. So you'd need to spend a few days in Ft. Collins to get the job done.

X2 I like it and I would be interested in a price. Having a hitch tube in the bumper and quarter panel protection are some of the things I want in a bumper. It also looks like it has a good departure angle.

Did you have to chop the frame or is it a total bolt on?

Dang. Greezy is quick on the keyboard this morning. Thanks for the info.

Can you post some closer pics on how that receiver tube attaches?

This is not a production bumper, but totally custom to what you want and need..Scotty has done all the work on my 80, but mainly focuses on 4runner mini truck stuff.. You do need to chop the ends of the frame... The bumper cost me $1200 and we used the IPOR spindle and latch for the carrier. The hitch is braced from the rear for extra strength.. The hitch mount up in the center of the tire is for the lighted license plate frame that goes into the reciever and secured with a hitch pin for easy removal..

Mutley: I love the FC-II's... They are a great all around tire that seems to be wearing great..Good siping for Colorado snow and Ice and nice lugs for the mud... No balancing issues with mine!

The main issue with any of these bumpers is that all of them will require trimming the frame rails back fir any kind of decent departure angle. This was a custom bumper mainly because I had to build it in stages to work with Jay's schedule. The guy just "had" to tow his boat to the lake in the middle of the build.................. :D.

Could I build a full production model? Absolutely, but would need a local guniea pig to leave his 80 at the shop for few weeks so I could jig it all up.

Right now I am concentrating on getting my Tacoma bumpers into full production, as well as my mini truck rear tire carrier/bumpers. However, an 80 series carrier is not out of the question. I have no idea how much it would cost to ship one though.

If anyone has questions, give me a call on Thursday since I am currently in Vegas and planning on heading to the pool to partake in some ice cold Pacificos with my wife..............Its got to be noon somewhere!:cheers:

i would be totally willing to leave my rig with you, but i am not in the position to purchase a bumpers at the moment. the cruiser is not my DD so leaving it for you to use a a template would be possible, if still needed once i am prepared to pull the trigger on spending that coin. let me know if this helps.

Looks Good! I like the simple design...

Whats the capacity of the tow hitch?

Looks good! I need to design a high clearance, mostly tube rear bumper with a tire carrier... Maybe I should get MetalTech working on that!

you do and I'll start another kitty for that and your sliders, your location is fairly ideal for me.
