What I've noticed is members really go in to hiding in the summer, vacation and heat plus jobs, but once the air cools we see both new and familiar faces. While the count is around 400, maybe 100 are still regulars and some like
@brittan ,
@jclarke450 and others have moved out of state they still check in once in a while. We have had members sell their Landcruiser and buy something else but we always hope they will return to our passion.
Largest gathering I remember was at Camelback Toyota two years ago, we had about 40 trucks. Tucson and Flagstaff have 10 or so members each and 6 or so in Prescott. The balance are sprinkled across the state.
This past weekend we had 20 trucks camping but 22 members, some spouses join. There are regular faces at most runs and meetings plus the new. Club meetings on Friday tend to be 10 to 20 trucks depending on weather (we had 22 trucks at our raining swap meet last fall at a different location and we were all surprised) or the promise of food.
In general our roster is like The Hotel California, you can check in but you can never leave. The passion for Landcruisers never dies, and the hope that we will see old friends again is what keeps us from dropping names.
Hope this answers some of the questions.
