Does anyone know where can get a backing plate for after the removal of the Assisted Cold Start Device on my 1HDT?

Radd Cruisers used to have them but I called there today and there source ran dry...
 
you can find them at any diesel shop for the rotary pump,or l just build them myself.

Fred Holmes fuel injection in Richmond BC sold kits for 20bucks that included the plate, don't know if they ship thou.
 
I can go and check for you at Fred Holmes if they have the parts on hand. Raj made me some kits for around $25, that included the Blanking Plate, 1ft of 3/8th hose for the return line, Viton O-ring seal, and 2 slightly longer bolts. If he has it I can buy it and ship it to you. Just PM me your mailing info.

Hopefully you are changing out before a problem.
You can make the plate or call a diesel shop, these plates are fairly common.

One last thing for the rest of you. If your cruise control is stumbling and/or you have stumbling of the engine pull the ACSD or at least check the internal filter before it costs you time and money.
