Denali parc and the Magic Bus
Hello everyone,
After the Artic Ocean, i have meet two suiss guy in Fair Bank. We have beeb to the Denali Parc together and them i hed my way to the Stampede trail. This is the trail that lead to the Magic Bus. This bus is where Christopher McCandless live for four month and dye. The movie into the wild is telling is story.
It's was a good trail, about an our of off roading and i was happy to have my land cruiser. After taht, it was ten hours of walking and two river crossing. One pretty small and the other one was bigger. more water and more current. A little bit freezing to
The bus was there, it's was strange. Something not real to be there. like a dream half awake.
On my way back to the Yukon, i have met a guy from california with a super 40 serie. Is name here is the Animal. He was going to do a long off road trip with other cruiser in Alaska.
After that trip in Alaska, i made my way south to Jasper in the rookie. I am here for tree or four days. The landscape is wonderfull.
My truck is going pretty well. I go slowly, betwee 80 and 85 km per hour to get 10.8 liter per 100 km.
After here, i will go to Vancouver and then south to the US. I will be oin the west coast of the US until the end of september before going in Mexico.
I have to change my cigaret ligter, not work anymore and it's realy useful for charging everything and to put the hight altitude compensator (not there anymore). Someone know a good place between Jasper and Vancouver ?
I was also thinking about putting a turbo somewhere during my trip, for south America. Do you think it would be cheaper to do it in central america, like in costa rica or gwatemala ?
