I had noticed that at highway speeds, I would get more air flow out of the vents even if recirc was selected. I ran the ac self diagnostic and got a code 32 which seemed to head down the same path. I pulled my glovebox and the baffle above the cabin filter housing moves freely and is not connected to anything. The part pictured fell out when I pulled the glovebox and should presumably be attached to the actuator that moves the recirc door. That component sits behind a stack of plug assemblies. Anyone gone into this repair? How do I get access to the blend recirc door actuator that sits above and to the right of the blower motor?

I did all four of my servos a bit over a year ago. The plug assemblies are for the ECU and other various computers. You can unplug the harnesses and remove the computers, which should give you access to the servo. Having a 90-degree ratcheting screwdriver will make accessing it quite a bit easier.

When I did this job I combined it with a dashboard replacement. I am pretty sure that you don't need to pull the dash to reach the blend door actuator, but I'm not 100% sure. I'd pull the plugs/ECU assemblies out and see if you can reach it without pulling the dash.

Edit- found a Pic of the area with the dash off. I'm pretty sure you can do this dash-on if you pull off the glove box area trim and the ECUs.
