Searched and no luck. I have an 07 Land Cruiser 100 w only 77K miles. Nearly perfect vehicle except for the stiff accelerator aka gas pedal. It is drive by wire and the problem appears to be at the plastic cam where the pedal slides on the armature or whatever it is as the pedal prgresses through the accel range. When you push it, it is sticking and giving a binding feeling against your foot or hand if you do it by hand. I know this is not supposed to be lubricated, but I tried it just for the heck of it and there was zero improvement. So how do I fix this problem? Makes driving the truck a PIA bc it is not a smooth accel feeling. The problem is definitely at the pedal. If you say replace the part w new, why? How would it be any different? I know the Toyota dealer will say this bc that's all they know how to do is swap parts. The truck only has 77K miles! Thx for hthe help.
