I spoke to another cruiser guy and he said you have to relube all the seals/gaskets? Because old gas mixed will new gas causes corrosion?

I think they are the same pumps? Any suggestions?

Don't do it. I think 1994 was R-12 and you don't want to go back to it, to expensive to repair and will only get more so.

I'm pretty sure they switched from R12 mid-year 1993. I have a 1994, and its R134.

How do I figure this out? Is it on the actual pump?

There's a sticker under the hood, next to the radiator, IIRC. I haven't checked on the pump.

CDan can back me up on this, but I'm pretty sure that they switched from R12 to R134 half way through the 1993 model year.

According to the Slee Newbie guide, the above is correct, and if the dryer is behind the bumper, as opposed to in front of the battery, it's an R134 system.

The changeover was in May '93. Someplace in the archives is a list
of the VIN's before/after that CDan (I think) posted.

Thanks.

Is there anything I should be cautious of when unbolting from both cars and replacing in both cars? I think after its all done, I will need to take it to an AC place for recharge... but is there any other words of caution / advice?
