AC recharging specs and pag oil recommendation

Does anyone know or have a good way to find out how much refrigerant to put in my 1989 JDM BJ71 with a 13bt. The ac has not work since I've had the bj and after checking and testing a bunch of the components I think it is just low on refrigerant. I was hoping to find a shop that will evac the r12 that is in it, and then refill with r134 and the appropriate pag oil. Any thoughts or insights are appreciated.

I believe this covers the 13BT as well. Not 100% certain.

It does, thanks. Looks like I know how much refrigerant to put in now I just need to know what oil to use.

R12 Denso compressors generally use mineral oil.
That said, most (all?) Denso R134 converted compressors require ND-8 (PAG46).

Thanks, thats a real helpful link. Hopefully I can identify the compressor my truck has in it and then I should be good to go.
