After completeing the front axel service the ABS light in constantly on. Anyone got a quick-stop guess to problem? the two front wheel sensors are in and seated peroperly. I have a FSM and can go thru the diagnostice if I have - just thought someone might have had this before and can put their finger right on to it.

Make sure they are clean and no gunk is attached to them.

Also, make sure you didn't crack the housing of the sensor...ask me why my ABS light is on....

Also, make sure that the sensor is correctly connected to the electrical wiring running back into the compartment area.

Good luck.

First of all....this is like the third thread of yours like this...it is Axle....Axle...Axle...not axel...or axil...:D

At this point I would have the code pulled so that you know which side is the problem. Then you can narrow your cleaning to that side. There is a lot of information about cleaning the ABS sensors...search is your friend.

If that doesn't help looks like you are in the same boat as Beno and I. I havn't had ABS for close to a year. I finally took the dash apart and pulled the ABS light. :D No more problems! :D Ok so not really but I have had ZERO issues with locking the brakes, and yes, even under extremely hard braking. I have only got the brakes to lock once and that was on wet pavment, in a closed parking lot under extreme braking from 45mph...
