I have a new to me 98 100 that I just did the 90k service on. Put it all back together and no lights except the ABS and brake lights with the dash warning light going off. I have reset the comp. again and nothing changed. Did the 40 pedal brake pump and nothing changed. Then I noticed the cylinder to the left of the master cylinder and the abs mod2 relay click on every 7 seconds like clockwork. I have been reading threads all day and have not come across anyone else that has had this exact same problem? I am thinking this means a seal may be bad so something is not holding the pressure this pump is supposed to be pumping up? I do not really want to take the plunge and buy a whole new set up will the rebuild maybe take care of this issue? I have not gone to get the codes pulled yet. Thanks for any help.

Have you actually got brake pressure though? I don't think you said. If you have brake pressure and the light is on. Then I doubt it will be anything to do with the pump. When you say you put it all back together, what did you have apart? I know the abs sensor wiring is pretty sensitive, it doesn't take much of a stretch on the wiring and they can stop working.

I have great brake pressure seems to all be fine. I guess I need to pull the codes but I didn't touch any break parts for the 90 k service.

Yeah it definitely sounds like an electrical problem then. If you weren't near any wheel speed sensors or anything then yeah, who knows? You might just have to see what the codes are. Unless anyone else on here has some experience with this problem??

ok well I was on my way to pull the codes in the driveway about to leave and I ran back in the house to get a drink come out and all light are off and no alarm. So I guess thats good if it doesnt come back?
