Ok. I think I've got the suspension stuff figured out. Going with icon extended travel.

Now looking at sliders

Bumpers

And wheels

Think I'm going to go with these. Leaning toward gunmetal but still considering black

I'll be buying 6+ wheels so my trailer will match.

Any suggestions on the sliders bumpers and wheels appreciated. I'm leaning toward a three hoop Demello bumper. And I certainly want sliders with a kick out. I loved my white knuckle sliders but they don't make them quite the same anymore.

I love the Demello bumpers on the taco, as far as rear I haven't seen much. Sliders, all pro are nice

dontcha wanna?

I have All-Pro sliders with the kick out. Got mine in bare metal, then primed and painted. They come finished as well. Do FJ mods fit Tacos? Check the All-Pro web site I suppose.

I like my sliders well enough. I stand on them alot. They've never had to save my a## yet as far as bouncing off a rock.

Front suspension stuff is about it.
The rear suspension on a tacoma is leaf springs. There is a chance the shocks could work from an FJ on a tacoma, but i would doubt it. Valving rate is probably a lot different as well.

I think Demello makes a sweet looking rear bumper as well that offers a good bit of protection. But, the stock bumper is steel (i think) so a little less imperative to replace.
