Hello everyone,

I have a technical dilemma.

On my KZJ95, auto transmission had to be taken out.

Stupidly I messed with the 2nd coast brake cover and somehow managed to pull the rod out a bit with a magnet...

Now I cant put the cover back on at all and am scared to open the auto transmission because this is my first time even working on a vehicle.

Does anyone know any miracles on how to put back inside without opening the gearbox?

Thank you!

pretty sure a big c clamp will push that back into place, i think there is a clip that is supposed to hold it from the outside too.

Will ot not damage anything inside? And yes the rod is held by a small circlip, and the cover by bigger. But the cover wont go back inside all the way due to the rod.
I tried hitting the rod back inside with a mallet and wood block. No luck.

i don't know for sure. if you can find any resources for the a340 it will be the same and its far more common.
