It is all painted up black now. Have all of the bolts in
and tightened up. The winch is back on.
I decided to re-spool the cable on the winch and found that
the crimped fitting where it attaches to the spool had broken.
Semi fixed it and we re-spooled all the cable. Took it out for a short
trip up into the woods and promptly got stuck in a water crossing.
So with water up to the sliders I climbed over the hood and jumped
to shore and rigged up the cable to pull myself out.
I'll be ordering some of that fancy blue line this week.
Was fun to get out for a couple of hours. Now it's time to take the
hardtop off.
