Just a quick note to my friends at TAC. My father passed away Tuesday in Albuquerque. I had the high honor of being the one with him when he passed. While was not an off roader, he was an outdoors man and the family has decided to skip the indoor funeral type of service and just have the open air graveside service up in Idaho, where he was raised and where his heart was.
I share this with this group as his influence on my appreciation and love of landscape played a great part in discovering off roading.

Sorry to hear about your father, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sounds as though he was an inspiration, and his wishes are being carried out.

Charles, that's rough. Not looking forward to being in your shoes. Hard to see the good ones go...

Thanks to all for your thoughts. I'm back in town now, ready to move on. Nothing will be the same, but that has always been true. Thanks again!
