A noob moved to Michigan from Florida, looking for a new vehicle(new to ih8mud)

What's good y'all?

I just moved up to Detroit from Florida and realized I might be interested in getting a new vehicle for winters. I am new to being interested in cars and would like to get into having fun with my vehicle. I am looking for something competent in the snow. I have a wife and a child, and potentially more children on the way. a 3rd row is a plus but I don't want to spend a fortune on gas. I also work at henry ford college so I can potentially get free classes on how to become a mechanic. I am a noob. I don't really know about cars so I am asking here for some advice. 10-15k budget. Let me know if you need any more information.

Sounds like you need/want an 80 series

should be able to find what you want well within you price

or step it up to a 100 series.
