I'll be in Moab around June 10 and this report is giving me chills. Thanks so much for sharing that with us. Just curious, as you wrote you had to fill-up earlier than expected, how many extra gallons do you think you would have needed in total?

nice write-up! That is exactly what these 80s are for, long expedition trips! love it.

Great pictures and write-up.

That is a great picture of the two little guys on the tailgate!

Nice,

I did a very similar trip before CM. I did arch canyon and then over to cottonwood then all the way up past mormon mtn to bridger jack mesa and then back into beef basin and ruin park. Thru E-hill, Up lavendar canyon, then on to lockhart to moab.

Nice to REALLY get away from folks. I only saw 2 people on quads in beef basin once I left arch canyon and not another til the horsehoof/bobby jo camp

Cool trip! Awesome pics and an excellent write up

Awesome trail, if you get the chance run it! We cruised it on Tuesday before CM07, from Monticello, in the park entrance, to Moab. Fueled in Monticello, ~58 miles offroad, don't remember the total mileage, 10.5 hours, burned 9.5 gallons of fuel in my LX450.

We also ran Arch, met wesintl on the trail.

Great write up and picts. Thanks. I travel with my two boys 8, and 11. Now thats a trip I would love to do. Thanks
