This Cruiser has been in the Bulletin Board for some weeks. Has anyone checked it out?

94 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER Red Salvage Title but has very little damage, No motor or drivetrain damage, runs great only damage was drivers headlight, bumper, corner of drivers finder and AC drier. NO Hood or grill damage. 270000 miles OME lift, cloth interior in great shape, driven daily before accident. $1900 obo possible trade for utv after 5 256-395-4115 334-863-1602

Looked at this truck with someone else. In the end, the salvaged title makes this truck not worth the parts... "Rebuilt title" takes too much.

I've been swapping e-mails and pics with the owner of the red 80 for a few weeks now.

And I'm pretty sure if you decided to take it, you could easily have a crawler 80 to wheel/flip in Very short order... BUY IT!

you should send Jay(Atticus) a message to find out if it is his old truck. If so, I think he owned it from new to 200K+ miles so you would know most of the history on it. It sounds like a good project to me if they will come down on the price.

IMO... as far as making it street-legal goes... i know where a clean title for a 94 is that will never see the pavement again...

The red 80 is salvage and is destined to be a trailer queen, parts rig, or farm rig for it's life from here on out. Just not worth the $$ or effort to get the salvage off of the title when clean title rigs are out there for sale.

Like you would know street-legal. I saw that green pile of something you were driving last week :D
