So I am doing some research on the next suspension I will be putting on the next truck.

I am going to go the OME route but I was thinking a few things.
With the leafs is there a lift size just like the other OME kits? Is it just a 2.5 or can you get 3s and 4 inch lifts?

I know I am going to go the heavy route up front because I plan to have an 8274 on an ARB up front. Now Would I have to add another leaf to prevent sagging.

Now for rears I am tossing up the idea of going with heavys or meds. Any opinions.

Shackles do I go with the emu ones or should I go bigger and get some manafre ones or another source. I want anti-reversible shackles

I am also wanting to do a U-bolt flip if I am doing the suspension. I figure go all out on it. Is there another place to get a flip kit from other than manafre?

Any other ideas to make a sweet suspension kit?

What else do you plan to use it for , will you put twin spare wheel holders on the back with extra Jerry cans etc or just a weekend offroader?
ust be carefull with the" heavy " Lots of kits in aus when you get the heavy for the front they seem to thin you will be running 2 motors, 8 pto winchs, 3 bullbars made out of 20mm thick steel and a pack of bricks up front , and heavys for the rears should allow you to carry 8 pallets of bricks
okay maybe not that much but you get the point , your next ride you proberly will set up for touring I guess but you still want it to be comfortable . Is ome the only kit avl to you mate?

Dude, do you even sleep at night or are you so obsessed that you just stay awake poring over the magazines, forums and online articles to figure all of this out? :hmm:

I'd suggest some CS007Fs up front, and some CS004RBs in the rear. Use the OME shocks or some 9000XLs, and some regular length shackles. Going too long on the shackles stresses the spring and creates caster problems in the front.
