Final update:

Leak has been found and fixed.

It was the driver's side front sunroof drain.

Before I could snake the drain I had to find it. Before I could find it I had to remove the perfectly sized wad of paper (that looked like a receipt that has been through the wash) that had clogged it.

Snaked both front drains and tested with two cups of water. Fast draining, no interior wetness.

Wow, this is exactly the area where I have a ton of water pooled up. Also have that driver's A-pillar wet after a rain storm. Drying it out now.
What is best to use to clear the driver's front sunroof drain? weed wacker line?

There is also a purpose built brush for cleaning sunroof drains on Amazon for pretty cheap.. which reminds me I need to clean mine.

What’s the service interval for the sunroof drain? I read about these issues on here often but have never cleaned mine. Cruiser is garage kept and I may have opened that sunroof 5 times since new 4 years ago.

There isn’t a published interval.. it all comes down to exposure to the stuff that can clog them like pollen, leaves, dirt, and the water needed to pull that stuff through the sunroof gasket which isn’t totally water tight.

You’re probably fine. You can also look into the tray for evidence of dust and pollen.. if there isn’t much there in the tray, there shouldn’t be any in the drain lines. But I just try to do it once a year or so.

It’s also really easy to verify they are draining correctly by pouring a portion of a glass of water into the front corners of the tray and confirming it drains to the ground behind the front wheels.
