Hi guys, new to ih8mud, stoked to find theres an active forum and even happier to realize the GX460 is the same platform.

Ive been busy on my 2010 for a while now.. Hopefully this will turn into more of a build thread than anything else. Ill drop a few summary pics.
So Far;
complete
-OME BP51 bypass shocks (incl rear airbag delete)
-Powerbrake rotors and pads
-Sripped the rear half of the interior, sound and vibration deadened and added a hidden floor box (frontrunner)
-Frontrunner roof racks
-ARB Front bar and winch
-Black rhino 17s / Hancook rubber
-Carbon wheel (work in progress, switches differ to the tacoma apparently haha)
-Ironman UCAs
-Custom LCAs
will post a lot on this as its been a long road, but I think im there. I didnt want increased weight like the aftermarket, so I did custom polys with en19t chrome moly holders and chrome moly spindle. machined to increase spherical by 3 or 4mm (from memory), zercs for greasing etc.
-KDSS - my nemises and I almost just deleted but I love the road handling. So Ive also done custom KDSS bars, ceracoated, alu stops (to eliminate the rubber on rubber squeaking), with oilon spacers between and custom poly (80 shaw) on the ram side.
-Dual Battery system

-Full 2019 front end :devil:
-ISF V8 & all its wiring and anything that controls it (drive by wire etc) - hopeing to do the swap end of this year
-Eimkeith PCC kit
-Treaty KDSS Spacers (prob going on this weekend)

probably the most time consuming job to date...but transformative. Bit shocked that there is no real sound deadening under the oem carpet and plastic.

What was the original engine?
Its still in :) 1gr-fe. It does OK at sea level, but we're at 5500ft here and generally quite hot (so density altitude will get to 9000ft). Its a bit asthmatic at altitude and they have heating and some other design issues. I figured rather than go forced induction, id swap, and the 2urs are phenomenal in design and build.
