I did check it out and it looks cool to be out there,i will try to get a day off that weekend and drive the hilux instead of the cruiser.is there a particular spot along the beach where they will set camp (i.e pole 6)?would this be similar to Surf n Turf event?

yes sir. its a fun one. it is more catered to the trucks and 4 runnners, but all toyotas are welcome!

Pismo last year was a blast... I'll link some of my pictures/videos from last year and maybe that'll convince some of you land cruiser people It would be cool to get some more people to go.

Overall, its a bad ass trip that no one should miss ( I get that cruisers dont get very good mileage. in a 2nd gen 4Runner not geared for 33s i got roughly 16 mpgs and spend about 200 bucks in gas ) I'm expecting a little bit better results because now i have 4.88s

That is one cool shot of trucks n 4runners,did i spot a Jeep in that pics?did he get towed out there after the event?LOL. Hey 93yota i have the same exact truck but mine is white with a camper shell,i'm still trying to get a day off on that day i would love to come and drive my truck this time instead of the cruiser.i will let you know maybe we could meet up on the way to Pismo.BTW i think i got some mud stickers hiding in my rig.

yeah i sold the pick up in may. i had 2 4x4 yotas, and i needed another mustang. so i sold it to buy the cobra. haha i literally ordered 2 IH8MUD stickers a few days ago. your pick up would do great out there!!! especially being IFS. air those tires down and go to town!!!

pretty much every toyota. last year there were a couple fj cruisers,60's, i didnt see any 80's. i have a feeling im going to be the only 80 there this year. but there are tons of pickups, tacomas, 4 runners

so yeah, the pickup version. technically, snt is every toyota too...just happens to be mainly landcruisers

not too weekends in a row...website says this event is the end of sept. snt is the beginning of november.
