99 tacoma with 3.4 temp gauge

Looking to put on aftermarket temp gauge

Has anybody installed one on their taco if so how'd you do it

Not exactly what you've asked about, but the Scangauge 2 has a nice water temp(ºF or ºC...your choice)function, among many others. Probably more $$$ than a single dial gauge, though.

I've seen folks adapt an Integra A-pillar guage pod and tap into the coolant line. But i second the scanguage II--you get 4 guages, plus diagnostic tool. All said and done, it would probably wouldn't cost much more than a single. Maybe even cheaper.
