I was wondering if any of you have experienced a problem with you automatic height control suspension. For the past year, my suspension seems to be very hard. The ahc switch works and you can tell sport from comfort BUT comfort is
sometimes rock hard. I say sometimes because it can also be great but I don't know what I'll get on any given day.
I am located in Asia so any help on this board is appreciated as no one here has diagnostic tools for this particular model.
Many, many thanks in advance.

This is a common problem with AHC. The gas in the spheres leaks out and causes the shocks not to absorb as well. This can happen if you had put brake fluid in the AHC reservoir or just from lots of driving. There are people in the US who will recharge your sphere for you, but since you're in Asia, you may have to pay the stealership for the spheres.

Thanks so much for the info.
Pardon my ignorance since this is my first LC, but what are spheres?
And, where are they located?
Also, no Toyota dealership here in the Philippines has the diagnostic tools to service my LC. Would a Lexus dealership have these tools since, essentially, this has the Lexus suspension and engine systems?
Again, my thanks.

I'm sure Lexus had the equipment unless its a extremely small dealership or there are a very very very small amount of 100's over there. The dealer in my college town doesn't service 100's. It doesn't even carry parts for them. I wonder why the Toyota dealers don't have teh AHC diagnostics, the newer LC's had AHC

oversea's LCs had AHC in 1998, no need to go to the Lexus dealer(if there even are any there).

There is a Lexus dealer here and they do sell the new LX570. My question, though, is if a Lexus dealer would be able to diagnose (engine, suspension, etc...) my LC since the Toyota dealers here do not have the diagnostic tools to do so.
Thanks!:)

yes they can, assuming they sold they LX470 there. If they didnt, then they probably dont have the tools.

Crap! They only opened a year ago so, no, they didn't officially sell the 470 here.
Wouldn't the diagnostic tools for the 570 be able to handle the 470?
