Need help, I left my head lights on over the weekend,I charged the battery up.Then i went to start it,it wouldn't start. It finally did, but was very rough when i got it to same idling.

I reset the ECU and went for a drive and it drove the same way, at idle the check engine light is on and when driving it flashes repeatedly.

I am thinking it could be either coils or a clog cat (how could that be) never had any problems before this. Haven't had a chance to check anything out,on my way to the airport for work and i will not have a chance to look at it until Saturday when i get back. Was just getting ready to park it for a week to do all major work to it.

Thanks for any idea.

Did you read the code? Im guessing you and TM are correct about the coil pack.

x3 on the coil pack.

I haven't had a chance yet because I am the road till Saturday. I am just saying my options till I get back, but I will be ordering two coil pack for now. I also ordered a obd2 scanner.

thhank, for all the info, guys. I used the obd2 scanner and i got three codes p300,p305 and p307. which meant my #5 and #7 coil pack are miss firing. I had order 2 coils just in case. i am good to go now.
