It seems like every '98 or '99 I've seen has the rear locker. Was this a standard feature or an option? I've stopped trying to use the search function because it sucks so bad. Thanks for any answers, with or without :flipoff2:

1999 was the last year they offered the rear locker option. On 2000 they have the thingey that uses the ABS and the brakes. So technically those are the "lockers" but not really but I hear that it works well. Not as well as having ARB lockers but better than nothing at all.

The rear locker and rear ac were both options on the '99. I have a '99 without either one.

While I am certain the rear e-locker was definitely optional I do have another question. Was the limited slip standard on the Toyota 100's? I know it is standard on the Lex 100's as is the rear AC in '99 models whereas the Toyota model lists it as an option. I feel like a limited-slip would have been standard, just haven't seen it written anywhere for the Toyota.

I thought that none of the 100 series/lx470 had limited slip diffs in the United States.

My 98 LX 470 did have it before I pulled it. Not sure if it was standard or an option

LSD? What is the code?

Is their a Toyota code for the limited slip. I have a '99 without a rear locker and was trying to figure out if I had a rear lsd.

Thanks,

I have scoured the web and haven't been able to find a code. CDan may be of help to you. Perhaps it is standard issue and that would be an explanation for no code.
