I'm selling my 98' 4Runner SR5 because I just purchased a 2000 Sport Edition, could not live without that useless hood scoop :D It's super clean, inside and out and I have all service records for it, new windshield, new starter contacts and newer Michelin LTX's. Best of all, factory rear locker!

Asking $7500 (Mud Price) / (Yakima rack not included, but factory rack will be). PM or email me at montananate@gmail.com

1998 Toyota 4Runner - SR5 - V6 - Automatic - 4x4 with factory locking rear differential (very rare option). 177k miles and I am the second owner. Amazing shape inside and out., very very clean. Newer Michelin tires, Brand new PPG windshield, new starter contacts, AC works great and I have service records for it since the day it was new and it has been very well maintained. I travel a lot for work (Missoula to Bozeman, Missoula to Seattle) and average 21-22mpg with the cruise control on 75mph. This truck needs nothing and is ready go.

:cheers:

1998 Toyota 4Runner - Private Party Pricing Report - Official Kelley Blue Book Site

Kbb.com values your truck at $5480 excellent, $4980 good and $4380 fair. Why the HUGE difference? Done a timing belt/idlers/waterpump, twice?

The truck sold today with no question to price.

First - Kbb.com values vary given an area code, it values it at $6890 Excellent, $6365 good, and $5715 poor in my area - your pricing is not correct for my area;

Second - Kbb.com is a guide, not an authority and if you look at the market here this age 4Runner, Tacoma or LandCruiser fetch above average prices. So I priced it according to my market and it sold to the first person who looked at it.

Third - It was in exceptional condition, all Toyota recommended service done before due mileage and yes, the timing belt was also completed.

The buyer just got an extremely nice truck at a very fair price for the market.

:cheers:

Sounds like a win-win, congrats. Looks like I'll be selling my next vehicle in MT.
