98-02 16" Wheels fit 03?

Not for me, but for a buddy of mine who just picked up an 03 and wants 16" wheels. He hasn't signed up here, but will soon.

was a thread on this. My recollection is that they do (barely) physically fit, but I was left with a concern about possible decrease in air flow and cooling... IIRC. Not sure.

They fit fine. No problem.

Since there was no change in the brakes, then I would assume so.

Australian vehicles come out with 16 x 8 steel rims on the exact same platform and brakes so no problems. This year our GXL (midrange vehicle, turbo diesel, or V8 petrol) comes with 17" alloys standard! We might catch up to the US in about 5 years!!

I've fitted earlier 16" rims on my 04 that came with 17" ones with no problems..
