Geez, I had my '89 sold for $12,500 last Fall and I thought I was asking top dollar !! Too bad the thing is so bloody far away from where I am..I'd like to compare its condition with mine..I do like the white though...Freeborn Red is better tho !!
BTW, does anyone happen to know, by looking, what brand of roof rack that is on the white one ? That's exactly the type I am wanting for my '89.

Yes, it is a lot of $$ but I guarantee you there are people out there who will pay such a sum for an excellent condition 62. I have always been of the belief that a vehicle is "worth" what someone is willing to pay. You get these bozos who immediately get out the "blue book" and start spewing numbers around. Sorry fella, these vehicles fall into more of a niche category that play by their own set of rules. Anyway, just because you advertise a vehicle at a certain price doesn't necessarily mean you will sell it at that price. It is always wise to list high because you can always come down !!
This is at least round 2 for the sale this vehicle. Notice the Maserati dealership name plate. I guess it either never brought its Reserve on e-bay, or it did and the 62 is now being offered by another dealer or another branch of the first dealer. Window Shopping is a sub-neurosis of the LC illness!

Gotta be real careful with these low milage ones. My odo reads a little under 80K, but I know for a fact the speedo was changed out by a previous owner. Some sellers though might not disclose that "little" bit of info! I did some digging around at my local TOY dealership and estimated that the speedo was changed with approx 55K on it. So, the actual milage is more like 135K--140K. Buyer beware, I guess !!
