Thanks to Onur "Beno" now at Nalley Toyota Stonecrest, I had parts in hand very quickly.
New Valve Cover Gasket
New Throttle Body Gasket
New Plug Gasket Seals

The intention was to get this done 2 weeks ago. Well winter is holding on strong here in DE.

So today I decided to start taking things apart.

I started by taking the Top of the filter can off. The I went to the Intake Tube. After loosening the clamps, I gave to tube a gentle twist, as I have done a couple times before....

Well this time, the tube broke at the first crease..... After careful inspection of the tear.. it was evident that there was about a 2 inch crack there for sometime. I am going to change out the vacuum line as they seem brittle.

The Plan.

1. Order new Intake tube, Vacuum line, Distributor O-ring from Beno on Monday
2. Clean and paint valve cover - Wrinkle Black
3. Clean and Paint Filter Tuna Can - Wrinkle Black
4. Replace rear Coolant line from Throttle body
5. Clean Throttle Body

NO NEED to disconnect Accel, Cruise or Trans Cables. Remove 4 bolts, 2 plugs, 2 coolant lines and lean out of the way

I am using Dupli-color Scratch Fill All in 1 product - Toyota 3ES Supra RedII ATY 1560. Got it a Autozone.

It come with a little brush and a clear coat applicator too.

That VC is looking nice man!! hard to go wrong with black/red combo

Thank you. Was going with all black but decided to change the Plug Covers to silver and paint the emblem Red.

Hi Stu - done yet, can we see the finished product? Looks very good so far. Thanks for sharing this.

So in the time I was giving the paint to fully cure...due to cooler temps, I decided to do some other things.
In the process of changing the lower throttle body coolant hose I broke the knock sender. . Not cheap but Beno sent me one in a couple days. There is a cheaper aftermarket one but I went with OEM.
With that replaced I painted the wire cover silver w red detail on the sombrero and started to prep the tuna can for paint too.
Pics of valve cover installed with my new sticker. . Thanks again Beno

Thank you.... Just take your time with the paint.
Also if you have not done the TB coolant hoses or vacuum line... It will be a good time to do them. Replaced a bunch of mine as well.

looks great ...this is next on my to do list , pm'd Beno

Like the VC color combo, might do same & black the plug wire covers too when I supercharge. What Scoop is that in your hood?
