Decided to sell my 261k mile LX450 to obtain a clean, 170k mile black 97 Collectors Edition.

During my ownership I have done a full baseline (plugs, wires, spark plugs, filter changes, belts and fluid refills for front/rear differentials), replaced both front wheel bearings, brakes all around and front rotors, and the phh. I have a few service records from myself and the past owners. The list of mods is as follows:
- ARB winch bumper with IPF lights
- White Knuckle Off Road sliders
- 4x4Labs rear bumper
- Milford cargo barrier
- 3 inch Tough Dog 45mm foam cell shocks with medium springs and panhard rods, Dobinsons caster correction
- 315/75R16 BFG KO2s
- Tanton front DC driveshaft
- Depo LED taillights
-Pfran LEDs for interior lighting
- Cruisin Offroad Skid Plates

Now to the bad:
- Biggest issue is the torque converter has gone bad however the vehicle is still driven every weekend. I have a used low mile transmission in the rear that needs to be installed.
- Small crack on windshield
- Very small amount of surface rust on axles
-Passenger window is slow, rear drivers side window works but is off track so I leave it up

Sorry for the short description but I’m typing this from my phone, would love to answer any questions over the phone to anyone seriously interested with cash in hand looking to purchase a good solid 80 Series. Depending on where you are located you could do a fly and buy, I feel that confident that the transmission would hold out BUT I would recommend trailering if your over 500 miles away. I drive this to and from PCB from Pensacola every weekend with no issues. Asking price is a reasonable $7,000.

I appreciate it man! Looking forward to getting the next build started

Very interested. What is the transmission doing? Slipping shuddering? Will it drive up a ramp into a truck?

I just messaged you but I’ll answer here to give everyone an idea.

On cold start or anytime you take it out of Drive, to get it to move you have to rev it to 4K rpms and hold it. It’ll bark a tire but once your moving it’s good as long as you don’t take it out of drive. Yes it will drive up a ramp.
