It is not mine. I drove by the local toyota dealer today and saw a LC sitting in the back lot so i took a look. Here are some details

1997 LC Green with Gold emblems
123k miles
LOCKERS
Tan leather in decent shape, Steering wheel and console leather in great shape
body in good shape, piece of wire holding hood shut?
Good amount of rust underneath. ( it is a Maine truck )
Latch for rear gate is missing, looks to have rusted to the point of breaking off

I would say it would be a good deal for the axles, lockers, body panels and interior parts. I wouldn't put a whole lot of value to it because of the rust. You would not be able to remove anything with out a cutoff wheel or a torch.

I asked what the plan for it was and he said "probably auction". I asked how much to buy it as it sits. After he came back he said, ok, it gets good here, "$8300 including tax and title". Had it not been for me trying to hold back the vomit, i wanted to offer $2500 cash and i will tow it off. I chuckled and said thanks.

Anyway, if anyone has a little more spare cash than I do, it would probably be worth a cash offer. I dont think they will get much at the auction.

Let me know if any of you want some more info.

down east toyota in Brewer. If some one local buys it for parts, i would be interested in a couple interior parts and the front bumper.

I took a look at this also...rust is not that bad for a 13 year old Maine vehicle. You could get another 5-10 years out of it no problem. Wish I had an auction buyers license. I'd give 'em 3K if they detailed it and fixed the hood/rear latches. O.K. another $500 if they baselined all the fluids and filters and overhauled the knuckles too! Hell, for that price I'd want them to also do the HG and the PHH.
