Will a hitch from a 97 landcruiser fit on to a new 4 runner? I have a guy that wants to use the hitch that I just removed, but hasn't bought the 4runner yet. I'm not worried about drilling new holes in the hitch, just it fitting to the frame.

Also, What year fzj80 springs do the 4 runner guys like for thier lifts? I've got at least one set and will most likely have two sets here this spring. Thanks for the help.

If you can wait until tonight...I'll put mine up to my Tacoma and see what the fitment is like. I'm assuming the frame width is similar at least back there between the Tacos and 4-runners?

That would be great, but no rush. The guy will be buying his new 4runner next week. He is just wanting to get the hitch on sometime before spring hits up here in Utah. Thanks alot.

A little late I know...

OK. Basically I held the land cruiser hitch up to the frame of the Tacoma, and it might work. The cruiser hitch has outward facing angles that slide onto the frame, you can see them on the top photo. Well, the frame for the Tacoma actually fits inside the angles, just barely. Might need some grinding to make it work. Also if you look at the factory Taco hitch, it drops down substantially from the frame, and the Cruiser hitch does not. You'd have to build some drop brackets to make it clear the bumper.

Good luck!
