I am selling my 97 40th Aniv. Land cruiser. It is all 2 tone leather, pearl white exterior, good tread on tires, fairly new brakes, engine has 200k miles. It also has top of the line chargeable oil filter, plugs, plug wires. I bought it from a guy who was driving to school in Notre Dame from Cda Idaho a little over a year ago which is the reason for high miles. I haven't modified it for off road or even been off road in it and as far as I can tell he never went off roading either. It also has key less entry and remote start, heated seats, a detachable face Alpine CD player, with IPOD hookup as well. Has third row seats, moon roof, factory roof rack, rear wind deflector, OEM front/rear electric locking differentials, OEM center differential lock w/ selectable dash switch. Also has running boards, tilt wheel, duel air bags, alloy wheels, rear air, dual power seats. The power sunroof is nice and works great, Automatic locks and windows, rear passenger heating, the very back fold down seats are pretty much unused. I can go on and list everything

I change the oil regularly and do maintanance regularly as well. All the glass is not cracked or chipped and windshield was replaced a few months ago. Leather is all good condition. I the only problem I have had is the engine light came on so i did a diagnostic check and I had to replace one of the O2 censors which i did. The engine light is now off. This LC runs like a champ and everything works great!

I would be willing to trade for a Forester or an Outback or some small fuel efficient SUV or wagon.

I am getting rid of it because I am a student and the gas mileage is pretty expensive commuting 30 miles a day to go to school. I really love this rig and wish I could keep it because it is so reliable and has so much room. I am asking $9500.
I can send some pics if anyone is interested in a couple days.

I will be checking this website from time to time or you can email me at danrklein@yahoo.com

Thanks,

Dan

Interested!

Please send pics to bhaskins@cbkfalls.com. I am in Southern Oregon and very interested. Willing to meet halfway?

Pearl White?? Was it painted? 40ths came in Antique Sage or Emerald Green.

Well, the floor mats say Collector Edition so I thought it was the 40th Aniv. or am I wrong? Anyways, I am in Spokane Wa. I dont really want to meet half way, sorry. I haven't put it on craigslist or the local want ads yet because I figure id give you enthusiast the first shot at it. I am not really in a hurry to sell it so Ill leave it on here for a while before I start posting it on other sites. Feel free to email me at danrklein@yahoo.com.

cheers

collector edition and 40th an. are two different things. If it is original white then it should be a collector edition.

Please elaborate on the rear air.........

rear passenger heating. Just so you all know it is the Collectors Edition and not the Aniv. Series.

So no rear air? These (US) rigs did not come stock with rear air ........

I was under the impression that the CE version did not come with the two-tone interior, is this correct? Maybe the skins were changed when the seat heaters were installed?

Sorry all for the late replies. Yes it does have rear air as well as the two toned leather. I am not in a hurry to sell this thing so for those of you that have emailed me for pics I am sorry I havent posted any yet. The weather has been pretty snowy so I havent cleaned it up to take any pictures. Plus I was going to detail the engine and interior prior to taking the pics and just havent had the time. I am going to replace the steering wheel because the leather is cracking, but was wondering who you all recommend on that. Hopefully posting pics shortly.

This is a '97 with rear air? As in, you turn on the air, and there are vents in the back seat? Are you sure? This could spur some interest.
