Never thought I would find myself selling this truck, but here it is. I'm back up to five vehicles and want to fund the next project.
1997 4Runner 3.4 Auto
I've owned the 4runner since 2007 when it had 116K and was in showroom condition. Timing belt was done at that time as well as replacing starter contacts, master cylinder, plugs, wires and probably some other stuff I can't remember. Now has 170K, some Captains dents, but the 4Runner is reliable and gets you where you want to go. It does handle a little sloppy with no rear sway bar.
Great way to get into wheeling with a vehicle that has some trail credit. Or some wheeling neanderthal can buy it and wheel with all the modern amenities?
Most IL and IN people know the 4Runner pretty well but here's the important stuff-
* 4X Innovations front winch bumper (winch not included- maybe it is)
* 4X innovations sliders with kickout
* Custom rear tube bumper with 2" receiver and skid plate protecting rear tank
* Fuel tank relocated behind axle (F150 tank with ford pump and sender)
* Dual cases (Marlin adapters, stock gears in both cases)
* Lock Right rear auto locker
* 3" front lift Front struts and springs replaced this past summer
* ~4" rear lift with land cruiser springs.
* 285/75/16 tires with some wheelable tread left
* Front Tundra brake upgrade (bigger of the two options)
* Rear drums, shoes, hardware replaced about 200 miles ago
* Remote start/Keyless entry
I can show the truck in either the Kankakee area, or Joliet area.
