96 Tacoma and 99 4 Runner

Anyone know if these vehicles share a frame?

The 96 tacoma is a x-tra cab 4 cyl auto 4x4 and I want to put the 3.4 in it as well as the manual. If I use the frame on the taco it will have to be worked quite a bit as it has a lot of rust on it, not through but tons of scale.

Any help is appreciated

two different frames between the taco and runner, but it should be the same between a 4 cyl and 6 cyl taco as long as its the same generation

Thank you, decided to repair the original frame on the Taco rather than hack and mod. Your input was very helpful
