Got the wife settled in with a FJ80 and a Composite trailer...happy wife !! only complaint now is gas money.

These trailers originated in Germany, they pull them with Volkswagons over there...

those are great trailers for pulling with light duty trucks. I know the US rep for that company supper nice guy from Germany. Good luck towing with the 80...you might want to install an aux temp gauge just to make sure you aren't running too hot. The factory gauge is useless. Keep in mind they pull those at much lower speeds than we pull at on the interstate:D

Might also want to toss a set of AirLift bladders in your rear springs for about $100 and two hours of your time. And, uh - you might want to 'splain why you're towing with the 80 when you have a Powerstroke....?

heh..

good call Doug...I didn't evem notice that! Whats the deal? I leave all my towing up to the Duramax because I think the 17,000 pound trailer might be a little bit much for the 80:D I don't even tow on the freeway with the 80 anymore.

good question:
Only reasonable answer I have it:::: Cause she can !!!
what would you choose to drive if you had a choice ? riding arena is only 15 miles away.
