***SOLD*** '96 LC for sale locally $8k ***SOLD***
***Truck is sold.***
This truck belongs to a friend of mine. 1996 Land Cruiser with ~95,000 miles for $8,000. OME 3" lift, 33" Geolander tires on custom 16x10 alloy wheels, factory lockers, leather, no roof rack. That's the good. The bad follows: salvage title from a frontal collision, repaired except for some slight damage to the leading edge of the passenger door and the fact that the passenger airbag is missing although the cover is intact (replaced). Front axle needs new birfield joints and brake rotors. Sale includes new birfields, front bearings, and seal kits for both axles (front and rear) new from Man-a-Fre, plus a pair of used rotors that can probably be turned.
This has been his wife's daily driver for the last couple of years or so. He recently had to repair the starter contacts, A/C, and is now putting a new radiator in it. His wife doesn't want the hassles of a car of this vintage, and he doesn't have time to mess with it. This would make a fantastic trail truck as it sits, or it could be finished. It looks respectable as-is.
