Hey All,

I'm looking for a low milage (less than 135K) 80 or LX 450 (LX preferred) with lockers. Needs to be within 4 hours or so of Atlanta if at all possible. Sub $9K price tag also preferred.

i've seen a few on craigslist, but wanted to see if fellow enthusiasts had better prospects for me.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you.

I saw an LX450 at a VERY shady used car lot in Marietta. It was close to the corner of Allgood and Fairground. I didn't feel safe getting out of my car to inspect, though. :p

Haha, I think I found that one on craigslist actually and was thinking of going to look at it (with backup of course).

listed at 151k miles. Not sure I am ok with that. At least it has lockers.

Thanks for keeping your eye out.

/Edit: It was sold yesterday according to the dealer. I hate my life, it is so hard to find anything good.

Could you tell me where it is? I may go take a look at it.

Thanks. I just emailed them to see what I could find out.

Anyone live close enough to take a look at this for me? 3 hours is quite a distance for 1-way.

Scratch that last one. it doesn't exist anymore.

Smitty (thanks again Smitty) looked at the one at United Auto Brokers for me when I was shopping. He told me that it was in excellent condition but the birfs would probably need to be done and the fan clutch has some play in it. Otherwise, it should be in great shape and drive great too. I was told that $9400 plus fees for a total of $9840 would be the best they can do. Good luck and remember that it is worth waiting to find the one that you want and are happy paying for.

Someone bought it yesterday actually, I was going to test drive it tomorrow, so I called and got that response.

Sound advice about being patient. There are lots of bad choices out there that can be too easily rationalized.
