I have been having having a few headaches about getting some handbrake action on my HZJ75.
The late models have these horrible little brakes shoes inside the disc .
I tried adjusting them at the wheel with some success but ran out of cable on the handlever adjustment.
I put a new handbrake cable from Roodog spares , from lever to disc and still no difference.
The old shoes seemed to be in spec as far as lining thiickness but Ive put some new ones on.
I will have them finished soon and I am hoping that will be the end of my weak handbrake.

. Worked out cheap ,$102AUD for discs skimmed,new shoes and pads(aftermarket of course)
