For Sale 95 FZJ80 Seattle, WA $2300

Bought this in the fall and the HG blew almost immediately. Was missing half of the studs on the wheels so I had all of them replaced. Also installed a low end bluetooth stereo and some seat covers. Tan leather interior.

• front carpets are missing
• ignition... snapped off at steering column, was JB welded and that failed, functional but currently zip tied to dash
• HG blown, coolant in oil
• runs but rough
• ~295k
• current tabs, passed emissions before the HG blew
• some dings and dents, etc.

Asking $2300 so i don't totally lose my shirt.

Was this listed on CL for a bit from a seller who’d stated they bought “upward” in an 80 (maybe a 40th AE, something like that?).

Is it just a simple HG pop?
-If so, seems even flatbedding to Tor & a receipt from his shop would pay off for what you can really expect to sell as non-runner for.

IDK, but I’d at least call & see a price quote for a HG R&R.

Good advice- Torfab quote to me was $3500-$4000 for a full rebuild - that is the high end- but $2000 is possible/ but if your that far in a full rebuild might be the best long term-

It is the one you mentioned, PO found a 40th. Like I said, just trying to cut my losses. Was hoping someone wanted it for a parts rig. I picked up a '99 and have been using that for the purpose this was intended.

Yeah, I looked at that ad a couple times - If I hadn’t already fielded multiple 80’s over some 12-odd yrs, I may have had a burgundy FS ad going myself right now
